We’ve added a new layer of flexibility and control to Multi-Signature accounts: Permissions.

This update enables you to define the specific actions each participant in a multi-signature setup is authorized to perform.

Available Permission Types

1. All

Users with All permission can:

  • Create transactions

  • Approve transactions

  • View the full transaction list

2. Approve Only

Users with Approve Only permission can:

  • Approve transactions

  • View the transaction list
    They cannot create new transactions.

3. View Only

Users with View Only permission can:

  • View the transaction list only
They cannot create or approve transactions.

Choosing Permissions When Creating an Account

When setting up a new multi-signature account, you can now assign a specific permission level to each participant directly during the creation process. This ensures the correct level of access from the very beginning.

Updating Permissions After Account Creation

You can also update the permission level of any participant at any time after the account has been created. This makes it easy to adjust responsibilities as your team or workflow evolves.
